"I love East as I love West"

The major purpose of this blog is to show differents corners of this huge city called London, where I am currently living. It is not enough just trying to find those things we have heard before or watched in movies, the spirit lays in the unusual common places for londoners. They have always been there even if they hadn't been shot before. I love when Albert takes me to this "special" places. We had such a great day out when we went to the London Thames Barrier Park, in the far east London, beyond the Docklands, close to London City Airport, the entrance or exit to the City, whatever it is the point of view.

London is for cold what LA is for hot, so I enjoy pretty much the cool wind that confronts my face early in the morning. Sometimes I wish living next to the river to cross it on my way to work. Days off are meant to be that.

Last Saturday was a day with sun and a night of Stars.

You never know. Lady Gaga was in town and we turned crazy to find her at Amika last Saturday, it was suposed she was coming there. Had a table with bottomless of vodka in the White VIP room, but we got bad news about her intentions to come. However, your never know, the day after I was wearing a Miu Miu total look when Lilly Allen standed next to me, smiling. My hearts started to beat so fast, I was sure, finally, it was "fair".

Hotel Missoni

Last week I came back from Scotland and I still remember the comfort of those days staying in the most central hotel in Edinburgh, the Missoni Hotel. Everything arround smelt Missoni: the sheets, pillows, carpets, towells, bathropes and also the walls had the Missoni stamp on them. So little times you can find a hotel which offers a laptop service rental in your room, for free! Gym, huge windows in the room with views of the Old Town, your own Nespresso coffee machine in the room, and without forgeting the Missoni Bar open until late-ish and the online Missoni store just available for customers.

Such a good and recomended experience.

Louis Vuitton ss 2010 womenswear

Today Louis Vuitton has presented its spring/summer 2010 Collection in London. The event was hosted at the Music Rooms in South Molton Lane, just a couple of doors away from the very famous Brown's boutique. All the major press from Europe were invited i.e.: Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Elle, Grazia, i-D ..., as well as some other fashionistas and socialites from the british scene.
